Are serviced offices worth it?

A question many prospective tenants ask before proceeding with a property

Are serviced offices worth it?

It depends, generally serviced offices are worth it if you plan on occupying a space for a short term or if you require extra amenities such as break-out rooms, superfast wifi, and on-site cafes etc.

Serviced offices are excellent for tenants who wish to have everything laid to them for a one-off flat fee per month, with some landlords providing everything from break-out spaces, wifi, waste management and furnishing with select few.

What are the downsides to serviced offices?

With everything sounding great with serviced offices so far, there is a few downsides which push the market towards occupying their own tenancy with private landlords.

  • Reduced flexibility with little to no input on furnishing or design

  • Higher costs

  • Less privacy

  • Additional costs
